1. What we collect
When you create an account: your email address, username, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile photo. When you use the site: the games you log, ratings, reviews, comments, lists, and who you follow. If you upload a profile photo or import your Steam library, we store that data too.
2. How we use it
To run the core features of GameLog — your profile, activity feed, recommendations, and friend comparisons — and to keep the service secure (e.g. rate-limiting signups). We don't sell your data.
3. Where it's stored
Account and app data is stored with Supabase (hosted on their infrastructure). Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We use the RAWG API for game data and don't send your personal data to RAWG.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Your choices
You can edit or delete most of your content directly in the app (remove ratings, reviews, or list items). To delete your account entirely, contact us at [add your contact email here].
6. Age-restricted content
Some game pages contain mature content and require confirming you're 18 or older. We store this confirmation locally in your browser, not on our servers.
